Members Page

Get an overview of the entire team's status.

Last updated: 2026-11-02

On the members list page, you can check the situation of the organization’s members.

  • Who is working on which goal
  • What’s in each member’s ToDos
  • What activity they’ve done recently
  • Who reports to whom (org chart)

Open it from “Members” in the left sidebar (the bar at the bottom on mobile). “Members” in the sidebar is an item pinned from the start in “Other features” under “More.” If you unpin it, open it from “Members” in “Other features.” Switch the view with “Org chart” and “Relationships” at the top, and go back with “List.” This section explains the “List” screen (for the org chart, see Org chart; for relationships, see Relationships).

In a newly created organization, “Members” may have a lock on it. It becomes available when you finish the challenge “Invite a teammate”, press “Skip and use it (no points)”, or once the person you invited joins the organization. Just creating an invite link doesn’t unlock it. Member features such as the org chart and handing goals to teammates also open once the person you invited joins the organization. Until then, “When the person you invited joins, member features open up” appears at the top of the page, and the “Org chart” button is not shown. People who joined by invitation can use both from the start (→ Challenges and feature locks).

The “List” screen is split into two areas, left and right. On mobile, switch between them with the “Members” and “Overview” tabs.

Members belonging to the organization are shown in a list.

  • Headcount: The numbers of members, seats, and guests are shown at the top (→ Guests and external members)
  • Search bar: Search for members by name
  • “Invite” button: Invite new members to the organization. Admins can use Addness member invitation at the top of the window that opens to decide who to invite and what to hand them while talking with the AI, and carry it through to the invitation (→ Ask AI to handle an invitation)
  • Filter by tag: Narrow the list by tags such as department or team. Admins create tags (“Manage tags”) and put tags on members
  • Member list: Avatars and names line up; click to show details
  • Pinning and row actions: Members you look at often can be pinned to the top. Pin or unpin them from the menu that opens when you right-click a row on a computer, from the sheet that opens when you long-press a row on a phone, or from the detail page on any screen. Pinned members are grouped under the “Pinned” line below your own row. To start a DM or a call, right-click the row on a computer and choose “Send a DM” or “Call”, or open the row’s detail page on any screen (calls aren’t shown in mobile browsers)

The whole team’s “goal completions per day” is shown at a glance as the color of calendar-style squares. The brighter the green, the more completed that day. On desktop, it’s shown on the right when no member is selected (after selecting a member, go back with “Back to overview”).

  • Choose a period of 7, 14, or 30 days, and move to the previous or next period
  • Switch the order among “Total,” “Inactive,” and “Name”

Switch to “Org chart” at the top to see how managers and their reports connect, as a chart.

  • On desktop, it’s shown as a chart of member boxes connected by lines from managers to their reports. On mobile, it’s shown as an indented list
  • People who have no manager and no reports yet are grouped under “People without a manager ◯” at the bottom
  • Type a name in the search field (“Find members by name”) and pick from the suggestions to show where that person is
  • In organizations with many people, switch the display of reports all at once with “Expand all” / “Collapse all”

In an organization where nobody’s manager has been chosen yet, “Choose managers to build your org chart” is shown. There are three ways to choose managers.

  • Ask the AI: Press Addness it and hand the instruction to the AI you use with “Open in Claude,” “Open in Codex,” “Open in ChatGPT,” “Open in Grok Bot,” or “Copy instruction.” The AI reads all members and their current managers, sets managers while asking you about the reporting relationships, and finally shows you an indented org chart
  • Drag a box (desktop): Drag a member’s box and drop it on the box of the person you want as their manager. Boxes you can drop on show “Drop here”
  • Use the ”…” menu: From a member’s ”…,” choose “Change manager” and pick a manager from the candidates; it’s saved as soon as you pick. In the same menu, “Remove manager” removes the manager, and “Add direct reports” adds people without a manager as reports. On mobile, use this method

Right after a change, you can undo it with “Undo” on the “Manager changed” message that appears.

The following people can change managers. When an item in ”…” can’t be pressed, a reason such as “Only administrators can do this” is shown.

  • Admins: Can change anyone’s manager
  • Non-admins: Can change the manager of the people under them (their reports and the people below those) to themselves or someone under them. People who have reports can also bring people without a manager under themselves
  • Guests: Can’t change managers and can’t be managers

Switching to “Relationships” at the top shows the connections between people as a diagram.

  • Line types: With the buttons above, you can show or hide the lines for “Relationship value” (feelings shown with ♥ or ⊘), “Follow”, and “Manager → report”. Relationship value lines are colored half from each end: the half near you is your feeling toward them, and the half near the other person is their feeling toward you
  • View: “Around the center” shows the people around the person you selected, and “Everyone” shows everyone. In “Around the center”, choose 1 or 2 for “Depth” to set how many steps out to follow. Press a dot and then “Center on this person” to move to the area around that person
  • Search: Enter a name in the search field (“Find by name”) to find that person

Lines are connected when you press ♥ in the member details or on a Network profile. If you ask your AI “Visualize my relationships”, your LINE friends are also placed as “External people”. Your exchanges with external people are visible only to you (→ LINE, Messenger and WhatsApp Integration).

In a newly created organization, “Relationships” has a lock mark until Network opens. Press it to open Network’s lock window (→ Challenges and feature locks).

Click a member and their detail page opens.

Top: the activity calendar and three numbers

Section titled “Top: the activity calendar and three numbers”

Below the avatar and name, that member’s “Manager” and “Direct reports: ◯” are shown. If there’s no manager, “Manager: Not set” is shown, and if there are no direct reports, “Direct reports: Not set”. People who can change the manager see “Change manager” (or “Set manager” if there isn’t one yet), from which they can choose the manager again (→ Org chart). People who can add direct reports also see “Add direct reports.” For an external member, the organization they’re joining from (“Source organization”) is shown too.

Below that, that member’s accumulation lines up as three numbers.

  • 🔥 Streak: The number of consecutive days achieving to-dos
  • 📅 Total days: The cumulative number of days to-dos were achieved
  • ✅ Completions: The number of goals completed in the shown period (this year, the last year, etc.)

The activity calendar beside them (below them on mobile) shows daily goal completions by the brightness of the green (the brighter, the more completed that day). The display can be switched by month, last year, and year, and you can also tell streak-freeze days (squares glowing ice-colored) and the day they joined the organization (pink border).

From the buttons below the three numbers (at the top right of the screen on mobile), you can send a DM or invite them to a meeting. You can also pin them from here.

You can see the results of the diagnoses that member took (goal-style diagnosis, values diagnosis, etc.).

Bottom: that day’s to-dos, goals, and activity

Section titled “Bottom: that day’s to-dos, goals, and activity”

On desktop, choosing a date with the date navigation (◀ ▶) shows ToDos added or completed on that date and goals worked on that day (on mobile, open the date from the activity calendar). When today is selected, today’s items are shown. Turn off “Show all” at the top right to narrow the list to only the goals completed that day. For members who are in charge of routines, a “Routines” list (template name, location, rhythm, next date) also appears below that. The activity history at the very bottom can be checked separately by narrowing the period.

August 12

Kenta Sato's ToDos

Decide the structure of the proposal materials
3 PM regular meeting with Acme Corp

◀ ▶Switch the date here to look back on that day's ToDo and activity

To-dos, activity, and diagnoses are shown only for the goals you can view. If you aren’t part of that person’s goals, ”◯◯’s activity is not shown” appears, along with “Send a DM” and “Call” (the button that invites them to a meeting).

Use “Invite” to welcome people into the organization. Besides regular members, you can welcome guests and external members, who don’t count toward seats (→ Guests and external members). To show just a specific goal to someone outside, or get their comments on it, without adding them to the organization, the goal’s owner uses “Work on this goal with someone outside the org” in the goal’s ”…” menu (→ for details, see the goal-sharing section of the Goal detail page).

Detailed invite-link settings (expiry, permission, invitation goal), resending/canceling invitations, and removing members are collected in Permissions and member management.

  1. Click the “Invite” button at the top of the members list page (or in Organization settings › Members)
  2. In the “Invite link” tab, press “Create invite link,” then copy the link with “Copy” and share it via a chat tool or the like (if you close without copying, the link you created is disabled)
  3. The invited person opens the link and completes registration

Admins create invite links and email invitations. When someone who isn’t an admin presses “Invite,” “Admin permission is required to create invite links” appears, and they can ask for a link from “Request in DM” in the list of the organization’s admins.

When an admin presses “Invite,” Addness member invitation appears at the top of the window (above the “Invite link” and “Email” tabs). Only admins can create invite links, so it doesn’t appear in the window for people who aren’t admins. Press Addness member invitation and choose “Invite members”; “Open in Claude,” “Open in Codex,” “Open in ChatGPT,” “Open in Grok Bot,” and “Copy instruction” appear, so hand the instruction to the AI you use (if you’ve set the “Instruction handoff” in My Settings › AI, only that one appears).

The AI that receives the instruction proceeds in this order through the Addness MCP.

  1. Reads the organization’s goal tree and member list, proposes who would be good to hand which work to, and then asks you who to invite and for what
  2. Creates the work to hand over as a goal (with the ideal). If an existing goal is being handed over, it uses that goal. When you open it from “Invite members to this goal” on a goal’s screen, it doesn’t create a new goal and invites the person to that goal
  3. Creates an invite link that assigns the person to that goal
  4. Shows you the invitation message (what you want to hand over, the invite link, and the first step after joining), and after your OK, sends it through a connected channel (LINE, Slack, email, etc.). If none is connected, it returns the text to you

If your AI isn’t connected yet, see MCP integration.

Besides regular members, an organization can welcome guests and external members. Guests and external members don’t count toward seats. The top of the members list shows the headcount in the form ”◯ people / ◯ seats / ◯ guests (free),” and in the list, guests are marked “Guest” and external members “External.”

TypeWhat they can doHow to invite
GuestCan view goals and conversations, and reply with comments and chat. Can’t work on goalsIn “Invite” → “Invite link,” turn on “Invite as a guest (free)” and press “Create invite link”
External memberJoins while staying in another organization. Can view this organization’s goals, chat, Drive, and Customers with the same access as regular members. “Use of AI, Huddle, and recording is deducted from your source organization’s balance”In “Invite” → “Invite link,” turn on “Connect with an external organization” and press “Create invite link.” The invitee presses “Join as an external member” and chooses their source organization from the organizations they currently belong to

“Invite as a guest (free)” and “Connect with an external organization” can’t be turned on at the same time.

  • Making a guest a member: When a guest tries to work on a goal, “Request to become a member?” appears, and they can ask an admin with “Request membership” → “Send request” (up to 3 times in the last 24 hours). Admins get a notification and choose “Make member” or “Decline.” Admins can also switch a guest from “Make member” on the guest’s row in the members list. Making a guest a member adds one seat, and the fee changes according to your contract
  • Making an external member a regular member: Admins can switch an external member to a regular member of this organization with “Make a regular member” next to “Source organization” on the external member’s detail page. The connection to the source organization is removed, and one seat is added

For how to change roles and the full picture of permissions, see Permissions and member management.

Scroll down the member detail page and there’s an “Activity history” section. That member’s activity is shown chronologically.
