How plans work
Section titled “How plans work”There are four plans: Starter, Pro, Focus, and Unlimited. Starter is the lowest-priced plan. There is no free plan for newly started organizations.
For organizations that started using Addness without a subscription before September 16, 2026 (the former free plan), free access ends on Monday, November 16, 2026. From November 16, you will be unable to open that organization until you choose a plan. Goals, content, and members will remain, so you can pick up where you left off once you choose a plan.
Starter is monthly only, with no trial. Ads are shown, and the organization-wide usage report isn’t available.
The plans differ in the usage limit for Addness’s built-in AI, plus screen recordings, routines, storage capacity, and how much of the usage report you can see. Your usual MCP-connected AI like Claude Code and Codex runs on each AI’s own contract (→ How AI tokens (usage limits) work).
Each organization has a single plan. It can’t be changed per member. Your plan can be checked and changed by organization admins.
Subscriptions are per organization. If you create two organizations, each one has its own subscription and per-person charges. When you subscribe a second organization with the same email address or payment method, there’s no free trial.
Plan comparison
Section titled “Plan comparison”Pricing is per person, billed for the number of members in your organization.
For the price, check what’s shown on the plan selection screen. The price shown may differ depending on where you subscribe and your region.
What’s included in each plan (the same as the cards on the plan selection screen):
-
Starter: Goal tree (goals and tasks) / Knowledge / Templates and public goal sharing / Comments and chat / AI context sync across your organization / AI agent connection (MCP) / Network (public profile and jobs) / Addness Voice (voice input) / Huddle calls / AI Drive 1GB / file transfer 50GB/person
-
Pro: All of Starter /AI-native project management (goals, tasks, KPIs) / AI context sync within the organization / AI agent connection (MCP) / AI goal suggestions and goal decomposition / huddle calls / public sharing of goals and templates / AI balance (estimates: meeting notes bot about 5 hours; working with AI about 1,200 exchanges) / screen recording 3/mo / routines 3 / AI Drive 5GB / file transfer 50GB/person / ad-free
-
Focus: All of Pro / a much larger AI balance + Addy Unlimited mode (estimates: meeting notes bot about 12 hours; transcription about 39 hours; working with AI about 2,600 exchanges) / screen recording 300/mo / external integrations (Slack, Google Calendar) / unlimited routines / usage report (overview) / AI Drive 30GB / virtual space
-
Unlimited: All of Focus / maximum AI balance + Addy Unlimited mode (estimates: meeting notes bot about 21 hours; transcription about 69 hours; working with AI about 4,600 exchanges) / usage report (member, team, feature, and AI details; CSV) / unlimited number of screen recordings / unlimited voice input / AI Drive 100GB
-
When you invite someone and a seat is added, the prorated amount up to the next renewal date is billed right away. Members you remove are reflected from the next renewal. This works the same for monthly and annual billing (some plans started before September 2026 are billed by the highest member count that month)
-
Only the organization’s regular members (people) count toward seats. Guests (people who can view goals and conversations and comment or chat, but can’t work on goals), external members (people who join while staying in another organization), people you shared a goal with to work on it outside the organization, and AI don’t count
-
There’s no cap on the number of people per plan. You’re charged per person
-
Invited members don’t need to register a payment method. The organization’s admins handle the subscription and payment
-
AI Drive capacity depends on the number of people. Starter has 1GB; Pro has 15GB for 3 people or fewer and 5GB × people for 4 or more; Focus has 30GB for 3 people or fewer and 10GB × people for 4 or more; Unlimited has 100GB × people. Files in the trash also count toward capacity until you delete them permanently (→ Drive)
-
Screen recordings and audio recordings: Each screen recording can be up to 15 minutes long, and each audio recording (audio only) up to 2 hours (Pro, Focus, Unlimited). On Starter, screen recording, audio recording, the meeting notes bot, and transcription aren’t available
-
Your current storage usage can be checked in Organization settings › Usage
Usage report and plans: Your own usage report (“Me”) can be seen by every member on any plan (except guests). The organization-wide usage report (only admins can see it) shows only “Overview” on Focus; on Unlimited it goes as far as Members, Teams, Features, and AI, and “Export CSV” is available too. On Starter and Pro, the organization-wide usage report isn’t available (→ Usage report).
Signing up for and changing a plan
Section titled “Signing up for and changing a plan”A new organization picks a plan during sign-up. To change your plan after subscribing, use the plan selection screen and follow the instructions shown there.
Checking your current plan: In Organization settings › Usage, “Current plan” appears under “AI tokens.” If it looks like your subscription isn’t active even though you subscribed, check that the organization you subscribed and the organization you have open are the same. If there are two organizations with the same name, you may have opened the one without a subscription.
Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal. From Starter to Pro or higher, you can switch on the spot as an upgrade. Organizations with a Pro or higher subscription (including during a trial) or an in-app purchase subscription from the iPhone or Android app can’t switch to Starter. Moving to a lower plan is not a cancellation, and you will still be charged for the next period. To stop being charged, cancel instead of changing plans.
Pro / Focus / Unlimited: Trial: New monthly subscriptions come with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required. The trial ends 7 days after you sign up, at the same time of day, and if you cancel before then, you won’t be charged. If you don’t cancel, it moves to a paid plan at that time. However, payment starts without a trial if any of the following applies: the organization has subscribed at least once before (including subscribing again), the same email address or payment method has already been used for a subscription or trial in another organization, or you sign up for annual billing.
Changing your plan during the trial doesn’t start billing; at the end of the trial, you’re billed for the plan you changed to. If you switch to annual billing, the trial ends that day.
Organizations paying with a single-person plan purchased in the iPhone or Android app can’t add members or external members until they switch to a subscription charged per person (guests can still be invited). Guidance for switching appears when you try to add a member and on the subscription screen.
How AI tokens (usage limits) work
Section titled “How AI tokens (usage limits) work”In-app AI is not available on Starter, and no AI tokens are granted. You can keep using your own AI (Claude Code, Codex) through MCP as before.
Addness’s built-in AI features (the meeting notes bot, AI meeting minutes, transcription, etc.) consume tokens (→ Features that use the AI allowance). Operations from MCP-connected Claude Code or Codex don’t. Tokens are granted monthly according to your plan, and the timing of the next grant can be checked in Organization settings › Usage.
If you use up the cap, upgrading your plan increases your allowance. On Focus and Unlimited, turning on Addy Unlimited mode lets you keep using AI beyond the cap (the overage is added to your next bill based on usage).
Features that use the AI allowance, and estimates per seat
Section titled “Features that use the AI allowance, and estimates per seat”The AI allowance (AI balance) is granted every month for each seat you pay for, and these features in your organization share the same balance:
- Meeting notes bot (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams): uses it for the time the bot spends in the meeting and the time transcribed
- Screen and audio recording transcription (Focus, Unlimited): uses it for the length of the recordings transcribed
- Huddle calls: uses it for writing the minutes and for the time the AI that joins a call spends listening
- Conversations in the virtual space: uses it only beyond the free time included per seat, for the time a conversation stays connected
- LINE official account: uses it when you talk to the AI on LINE and when messages are sent to LINE
- Working with AI: Ask AI, AI chats, AI Drive, goal suggestions, and more
The number of screen and audio recordings (3/month on Pro, 300/month on Focus, unlimited on Unlimited) and voice input (Addness Voice) do not use the AI balance.
Estimates per seat per month are below. Each number assumes the allowance is used only for that feature; using other features reduces it.
| Per seat, per month | Pro | Focus | Unlimited |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meeting notes bot (Meet, Zoom, Teams) | About 5 hours | About 12 hours | About 21 hours |
| Transcription of recordings | Not available | About 39 hours | About 69 hours |
| Working with AI (one exchange) | About 1,200 | About 2,600 | About 4,600 |
- The organization’s allowance is the total for all seats, so more members means more for the organization
- The meeting notes bot uses it for the time the bot was in the meeting ($0.65 per hour), including time it waits in the lobby
- Transcription uses an amount set by the length of the recording. The numbers are estimates from actual usage (about $0.20 per hour)
- Working with AI uses more for longer content. The numbers are estimates from average actual use
Checking AI usage
Section titled “Checking AI usage”In Organization settings › Usage, you can check your AI usage.
- AI tokens: “Remaining” (%), plus your current plan and the date of the next grant
- AI runs: “Total Runs” (the number of times AI was used, with the breakdown of success and failure)
- Storage: The capacity in use and the cap
The period for “AI runs” can be switched between “This Month,” “Last Month,” or a range you choose with “Start Date” and “End Date.” From “View details by member,” you can also check each member’s run count and cost estimate.
Use of AI, Huddle calls, and recording by external members, who join while staying in another organization, is deducted from the balance of their source organization.
Invoices, receipts, and payment method
Section titled “Invoices, receipts, and payment method”To check or update invoices and receipts, payment status, and your payment method, use the place where you subscribed. The steps are shown on the subscription screen.
Removing a payment method after canceling or during a trial: Even after you cancel, the subscription continues until the next renewal date (during a trial, until the trial ends). Until then, that payment method is used for the final charge, so it can’t be removed. To remove it right away, add another payment method first, then remove it. You can confirm the cancellation went through if the subscription screen shows “Canceled. Your subscription ends on [date].”
When a payment fails
Section titled “When a payment fails”For 7 days after a renewal payment fails, you can keep using Addness as usual. During this time, a banner “Your payment failed” appears at the top of the screen. The banner shows the date from which Addness can no longer be used. You cannot close the banner. Admins see the button “Update payment method” in the banner. Other members see a message in the banner asking them to request the update from a member who manages billing. This button does not appear in the iPhone and Android apps.
If the payment is still not confirmed after these 7 days, everyone in the organization sees “Your payment failed” and cannot use Addness until the payment is confirmed. Admins also see the buttons “Check payment method” and “Open Billing Settings”. “Check payment method” opens a screen where you can fix the payment method. Other members see this message: Ask a member who manages billing to check the payment method. The two buttons do not appear in the iPhone and Android apps.
The 7-day grace period and the screens above apply to plans you subscribed to on the web. If a payment fails for an in-app purchase on iPhone or Android (App Store or Google Play), follow the store’s instructions to fix your payment method.
How to cancel
Section titled “How to cancel”To cancel, use the place where you subscribed. The steps are shown on the subscription screen. Once you schedule a cancellation, you can keep using Addness until the next renewal date.
When the period ends, the contract terminates, and opening that organization shows the “Your subscription has ended” screen. Goals, content, and members remain intact, so you can pick up where you left off by choosing a plan again from “Subscribe again.” There’s no free trial when you subscribe again.
Deleting an organization ends its subscription on the spot. Unlike canceling, where you can keep using it until the next renewal date, this can’t be undone. Likewise, no one can open the organization’s data, such as goals, content, and members, anymore (it isn’t erased from the database and is kept with no set time limit) (→ Deleting an organization). A subscription you started from the iPhone or Android app doesn’t stop when you delete the organization. On iPhone, cancel the App Store subscription from Settings; on Android, cancel the Google Play subscription.
For the latest prices and plan details, check the plan selection screen.
